A Hidden Arsenal in Richmond Heights

We got the call from a local estate seller who had just finished buying the entire contents of a Richmond Heights home. He expected the usual mix of furniture, old tools, and maybe some vintage electronics. What he didn’t expect was to start finding handguns... everywhere.

No boxes. No paperwork. No gun safes.

Just loaded and unloaded pistols scattered throughout the house, buried under blankets, wedged in drawers, and even hidden behind bookshelves. By the time he stopped counting, there were fifteen.

Among them? A custom Colt Delta Elite chambered in 10mm that immediately caught our eye. It had been beautifully tuned with a match-grade trigger and aftermarket grips, a shooter’s (and my) dream. There was also an FNH Five-Seven in nearly pristine shape, a highly customized Beretta 92F with G10 grips, and a Smith & Wesson 617 .22 LR revolver that had clearly seen more hidden away time than range time.

We also recovered a pair of Heckler & Koch USP pistols, one in .40 and one in 9mm both still solid despite years of apparent neglect.

The estate seller knew enough to stop what he was doing and call us. With firearms in unknown condition and no transfer paperwork, it was a legal and safety mess waiting to happen.

We arrived, tagged each gun, ran initial checks, and transported them back to our facility for full appraisal and compliance processing. No drama, no gray areas. Just a clean legal handoff.
